Madisound is excited to bring you the “Recession Buster Kit MK2". This 2-Way kit offers a premium, yet incredibly affordable system using Vifa drivers and custom crossovers. The woofer was produced in Denmark, and the crossovers are fully assembled for easy hook up and installation.

The tweeter is the 1” Textile Dome BC25TG15-04. The mid/bass woofer is the 5.5” Treated Paper Cone TC14WG49-08. Both units are technically solid, model very well, and most importantly sound great together.

We took great care ensuring that this kit not only provides high end drivers, but also has a crossover to match. The drivers proved very agreeable, resulting in a relatively simple crossover network with a smooth phase response. The tweeter circuit is 2nd order (12db/octave) with fixed L-Pad for attenuation. The woofer circuit is 1st order (6db/octave) with an impedance compensation network. The crossover point is 3kHz. Our measured results verify a flat frequency response, which you can view below. Overall performance through listening tests is excellent. The presentation is nicely balanced and exactly what we have come to enjoy from Vifa systems.

Each assembled crossover is built with air core inductors, a Bennic polypropylene cap on the tweeter, and a Carli Mylar cap in the woofer circuit.

The RB2-Kit is the best bang-for-the-buck speaker system available. Madisound has a rich history with both Vifa drivers and excellent kit offerings. • (2) QC187R & (2) QC187B Quick Connects - for easy connection of wire to woofers (order more of this size if you buy input cups or binding posts and don't want to solder)
• (6) QC250R & (6) QC250B Quick Connects - for easy connection of wire to crossovers
• (16) Black Ox & Wax Screws 8X1 or Black Ox & Wax Socket Head Screws 8X1 - for mounting drivers into cabinet
• (8) Black Ox & Wax Screws 6x1/2 - for mounting crossovers to cabinet
• (2) 2FLARE Precision Flared Ports - for ported box design
• (8ft) Foam Tape - for air tight seal of drivers to cabinet
