Retrofits: Speaker Replacement Service

If you want to repair your own speakers, Madisound can usually find a driver to replace a blown woofer, midrange or tweeter. Before you call us about replacement speakers please review the speaker repair checklist.

We have been selling speakers retail for almost 20 years now. While we have an extensive selection of drivers, we do not have cross referencing information from other manufacturers. We we do have is the experience needed match you up with an appropriate replacement driver from our stock.

Please understand that we deal with people at many different levels of knowledge. One quick note on vocabulary, we usually refer to an individual woofer or tweeter as a 'driver' and only use the term 'speaker' to refer to a whole speaker, woofer and tweeter in a cabinet. This page is meant for the general public looking for replacement drivers.
