Vas, one question.......why do you continue to get yourself in these situations.
doh !!!
people are often too quick to adapt to the environment forgetting to ask the question - do i need to adapt to the environment or is the environment itself wrong ?
99% of the time the answer is - environment is wrong.
adapting is easier in the short term but in the long term this approach causes people to accumulate potentially lethal levels of stup1dity.
"sometimes all you need to lose your way is to march in step with everybody else" ... again this is probably 99% of the time
if there is one lesson i learned in life is never to listen to other people.
You sure are full of yourself, Vas, and that's exactly why very few people like your posts and have transferred that dislike to not liking you even though they don't know you personally. How have you managed to learn anything if you "never listen to other people"? It's completely impossible to learn without listening to other people because "listening" includes reading. If you didn't read and you didn't literally listen, you'd be completely devoid of any knowledge, as no one is born inherently knowledgable on anything, including you. While always conforming to everything and everyone's ideas is not the best way to go through life, it is necessary to conform to some things and some people a good bit of your life if you hope to prosper and contribute. Make the differences you can when you can without being a hard-to-like person or trouble-causer.

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah................Oh yeah, I remember why I left this environment. It was the lack of content in posts like this.
I'm going to get myself a big glass of stupid then reread this post in the hopes that it will make............nah, that isn't going to happen.
So my next question (just for fun) would be...........if 99% of this envirenment is wrong and you should never listen to anyone. Why exactly are you on the forum, isnt that a bit of an oxymoron?
....and I dont mean offence by this......just that I think we are all on here to share information, ideas, thats what forums, no?
99% is still a lot less than 100%
it is still theoretically possible to come across useful information when reading forums although this happens rarely.
but more importantly we are social beings and i need to practice my skill of beating people down mentally.
>"99% is still a lot less than 100%"
Nice mathmatics, donate 99% of your earnings and tell us how that 1% works for you.
>"it is still theoretically possible to come across useful

Especially when forum content is filled with "rarely useful theories".
>"but more importantly we are social beings and i need to
practice my skill of beating people down mentally."
What's the matter vas, not enough hugs and love as a child?
Two words come to mind...
superiority complex
n.
"1. An exaggerated feeling of being superior to others.
2. A psychological defense mechanism in which feelings of superiority counter or conceal feelings of inferiority.
refers to a subconscious neurotic mechanism of compensation developed by the individual as a result of feelings of inferiority.[1] The feelings of inferiority in this specific complex are often brought on by real or perceived social rejection, possibly as a result of the individual's inattentiveness to hygiene, appearance, or lower intelligence as compared to others. The term was coined by Alfred Adler (February 7, 1870 – May 28, 1937), as part of his School of Individual psychology."

>practice my skill of beating people down mentally.
Well it gives people a chance to be beaten down to help them identify ideas that are *furthest* away from normal reality...
