clarification on the sealed ZRT 2.5 enclosure
Am looking at building the sealed 2.5 way ZRT, and need some clarification on the enclosure.
Am I correct in reading the drawing such that the bottom shelf is not to be removed / ventilated, basically making an independent compartment at the bottom that only serves to house the crossover?

The entire enclosure is open. I think one of the panels is solid and needs to either ventilated or removed. No sealed lower chamber or anything like that. If you did seal the lower chamber, you'd get a bit more mid bass kick and the expense of some depth.

I haven't glued together the enclosure yet, so the lower chamber will not be sealed. Just a few questions on the finishing:
- Rounded edges are the way to go? What diameter on the rounding is preferred?
- I assume MDF is easier to round than plywood? Am considering doing a plywood/MDF or MDF/MDF sandwich for the front baffle.

Most would do a 3/4" roundover but a 1/2" roundover will do nicelly to! You are right, MDF is a far better material to route then plywood. The plywood's veneer can chip while routing, not to mention figuring out what to do with the bare layers of ply that will be showing. Ply's can also have some voids in them or can get voids while routing your edges! A sandwich might be a nice way to go. Plywood by its self could also give you some unwanted resonance...
