    Microphone preamp for speaker measurements

I'm looking for a microphone preamp for making SPL measurements, with Arta and a measurement microphone. Obviously the frequency response of the preamp has to be flat as a pancake, and it has to have the phantom 48V out, but what other parameters matter in this regard.

I found this model at guitar center for only $29.99, it's a tube based one which makes me a bit weary. They might sound mellow, but technical specs are more important here. I suppose I could build one with some op amps and a bread board, but given the low price it's not worth the effort.

The manufacturers stated response seems pretty good though, assuming it's correct:
    Frequency Response: 10Hz to 30kHz, +/-.5dB
    Dynamic Range: >100dB (20-20kHz) typical
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): <0.1% (typical)

Anyway, here's the link. Any advice would be appreciated
