I would like to build a 7.1 home theatre system as i really enjoy a good action movie !! I have a clean slate to start with so at this stage im all ears. A couple questions to start with;
Is it ok to have towers as front L/R and small ones on stands for surrounds ?
Or should i be looking at keeping them all on stands like the MTM ect ?
I am more a practical type, so i would prefer it to bring the house down and only look ok, than look awsome and hardly rattle the windows !!
The amp is a denon 2805 with 100w + 100w(8ohm,20hz-20khz with .05% thd) probably wont bring the house down with the amp but willing to give it a go. I tried to read vance dickasons cookbook twice !, started to pick up on some stuff but found it a bit too techie for my pea brain so please keep it in english for me and i will try to keep up with you all.
