I currently have some Altec Lansing 511 and 508 speakers from the late 80's that are showing their age.
The midrange and tweeters on both pairs are losing the silver coating
and are showing the cotton stuffed inside the units.
Altec Lansing does not sell replacment speakers for these, and the mids are getting a touch fuzzy.
The best option would be to buy new but can not find them. Second best is to get a compatable replacement to replace all.
Any suggestions.
Thanks Dan
