Assembled Crossover for Seas 7" P18RNX/P (H1350) woofer and 27TDFC (H1189) textile dome tweeter.
The price is for a single crossover.
The crossover comes on a fiberglass circuit board. The woofer coil is the Madisound Sidewinder 16awg coil. The capacitor on the tweeter is the "SA" series Clarity Cap. We use the Eagle metal oxide film resistors on the tweeter. This combination of parts give you the best sound possible for the price. The next step up in quality is a very big step up in price.
We feel the parts used are complimentary to this driver selection. Of course you may always build your own, as the schematic is free for your use.
Our Madisound MD14B ported cabinet is an excellent choice for this system. We also have the matching pre-cut baffles!
Suggested box alignment:
0.5 cubic foot with a 2" diameter vent by 5" long

About 30% stuffing
We suggest keeping the tweeter and woofer close to each other, to create a point source. If you put the tweeter a little off to the side, then the distance from the tweeter dome to each side of the cabinet is different. This will spread out this edge refection over a wider frequency range, so you don't have a bigger problem at a certain frequency. In order to further reduce edge reflections, you should consider routing the speakers into the cabinet until they are flush with the cabinet face.
