Seas Loki Coaxial Speaker Kit in Natural Cherry - Each
This is not a red finish, it is natural cherry that will darken a little with time.
Kit includes:
One Madisound MD04 Natural Cherry Cabinet with black grill
One Seas T18RE/XFCTV2 (H1333) Coaxial Speaker (Magnetically shielded)
One Madisound Crossover with air core coils and poly caps
One DB-cup input cup
Stuffing, wire, screws, foamtape
The cabinet is MDF with a natural cherry veneer. 1" front baffle and 3/4" walls and back. The cabinet has a black grill on the front. The hole is cut for the speaker and a flared port is installed. The cabinet dimensions are 8" wide by 15" tall by 11" deep. The volume is 12 liters
The speaker is 8 ohm, 88dB and has a frequency response of 46Hz (@-3dB) to 25kHz. Power handling is 80 watts. The tweeter is mounted at the base of the coin in a coincidental arrangement. This configuration allows you to hear the tweeter and the woofer at the same time and from any angle. This arrangement also allows the speaker to be placed on its side if needed. The speaker is magnetically shielded, for use near a television.
This speaker offers audiophile quality sound in a small package.
Upgrades:
Try using the Deflex Panels on the inside walls to stop reflections. Put one on the back wall and cut two in half for the sides and top closest to the driver. You would need 2.5 panels per speaker.
