The Cygnet MK2 is a 2-Way speaker using Seas of Norway Prestige line drivers:
Seas H511 P21RF/P 8" woofer and Seas H1189 27TDFC 1" soft dome tweeter with a series crossover design.
This speaker was designed to provide a full range of sound, offering great bass without sacrificing midrange response. The smooth upper roll off of the woofer allows for a seamless transition from the low to high frequencies. Voicing and imaging have not been compromised in this system.
The Seas H511 P21RF/P has an injection molded magnesium frame, high loss rubber surround, and polypropylene cone. The bullet shaped phase plug reduces compression and avoids resonances that usually occur between the dust cap and the pole piece. The 2" diameter voice coil insures good heat dissipation and high power handling.
The Seas H1189 27TDFC tweeter utilizes a Sonotex fabric dome, in which the dome and surround are vacuum formed together to form a single piece. The rear chamber ensures a low resonant frequency. The voice coil is wound on a perforated former and immersed in magnetic fluid to increase short term power handling and reduce the compression at high power levels.

Alternate box alignments:
0.75 cubic feet with Flared 2" vent by 7" long for an F3 of 48Hz
or
1.0 cubic feet with Flared 2" vent by 6" long for an F3 of 43Hz
or
1.2 cubic feet with Flared 2" vent by 5.5" long (or non-flared 2.5" vent by 8.5") for an F3 of 40Hz.
(Subtract 1" from length if using non-flared ports on any of the above)
Sealed box of 0.25 cubic feet will result in an F3 of 90Hz
